Well I was a client and I can tell you that she did not work in my best interest. She did however billed me for excessive hours and didn't inform me of court dates. Any questions I had about my case was met with warnings to drop me as a client. She went to court unprepared and got fined by the judge. She passed the $1,500 fine onto me and constantly threatened to drop me as a client. She double booked me during my divorce mediation. She put me on mute while she address another mediation at the same time mine was in progress.... read more

Ms. Carter and her staff are amazing. They’re very hands on and good at what they do. Your honesty and willingness to at least help yourself goes a long way with them. I totally recommend them if you need them. In my own personal experience, Ms. Carter got both my cases dismissed and actually physically got evidence proving my innocence after I had the nerve to ask the judge for another lawyer.
