Leaving this review because I feel that when you reach out to an attorney seeking consultation, and they respond and proceed to tell you that "they need to consult with another attorney and will call you back," you expect that they will do what they said! Luella, does not seem to be a woman of her word and when it comes to time sensitive cases, an attorneys "word" is sometimes all you have. Save your energy and look for someone else. Glad we didn't.
I was married to my husband for over a year and finally decided to go through a complete name change (first and last name). The entire name change process with the Law Office of Luella G. Hairston was affordable and timely. Sanaz helped prepare all the documents and I only had to meet with her twice. During my court appointment, the computer was down and the judge unable to pull up an electronic file of my publication, but Luella was prepared and had back up paper copies of my publication. Very attentive and very hard working. Mrs Hairston and her staff even worked weekends to insure they were prepared for my case, and in the process beat another attorney who is regarded very highly. They worked on the case what needed worked but didn't do things to add to the cost as I have seen other lawyers do. I am very, very pleased with their performance throughout the entire case.
