Ben seems to be a smart attorney but he is inconsistent and has a condescending demeanor. I regretted working with Ben after my second meeting. He sighed when I asked questions and disappeared at times when counter part attorney pressed. Unfortunately that's when I needed him most. felt stuck with him because I didn't want to miss my closing date. In hindsight, probably should.have switched. Live and learn.
Do not use Ben Cooper. We recently used him for a very simple purchase of a condo. After inspection, he would not talk to the other side about fixing some issues, told us and our real estate broker to work it out with the other side ourselves. At the closing, he charged us an extra fee in addition to his quoted retainer and could not explain what the extra fee was for.
