I have a dear friend at this facility and enjoys the activities alot. Carla is one of the most caring individuals and cares that the residents are involved in all the activities. Tammy the Director of Activities keeps the calendar full of activities including bus rides, music, arts and crafts and lots of taste testing. If you want a place for your loved ones...bring them to Morning Pointe the Lantern of Lenior City.
The Lantern is a wonderful community. The staff is always friendly, the building is clean and well cared for, and the food is good. James, the Executive Director, is always welcoming and a great resource. Highly recommend.
As my now 95 year-old mom began to slow down, it became increasingly apparent of the need to find both a safe and entertaining residence for mom to enjoy. What a very difficult decision it was, but I now know that we made the right choice! MorningPointe is a wonderful facility. Residents get the attention and care they desperately need. Tammy pours her heart and soul into these residents and genuinely loves them. The activities provided are engaging, and the music is something all levels of dementia patients can enjoy.
We placed our mom in the loving care of The Lantern at Morning Pointe, Lenoir City, for nearly 3 years as her dementia progressed and her needs became more than we could provide. It was the best decision we could have made. Not only did our mom have her physical needs met, the staff there provided her with so much mental stimulation and so much love.
