I can’t say enough about how wonderful the Landing is. We looked at pricier assisted living options for our father in the DC-Silver Spring area, and the Landing is by far the most attractive, well-run, affordable facility we looked at. We moved our father to the Landing from Los Angeles three months ago after an unexpected cancer diagnosis and serious decline in his health. Full transparency… my mom did not move to the landing because her health deteriorated significantly before we could live her in. However. Debra was so patient and helpful while we navigated very difficult decisions. The location is beautiful and so calming.
We looked at many assisted living places in suburban Maryland and cannot say enough good things about The Landing. It is located on New Hampshire Avenue with easy access to I-200. There is plenty of resident and visitor parking. The grounds have nice sitting areas and small gardens. It is only a few years old and not yet fully occupied, although it deserves to be.
