I cannot say enough great things about Discovery Village in Southlake. My mom has been in their skilled nursing rehabilitation for the past 20 days, and the care she has received has been exceptional. I have lived in Independent Living in Discovery Village 2 for over eight years and have been very happy here! The residents on the first floor are more like a family than “just neighbors.” One of the reasons I chose this option is because of the availability of assisted living on the second floor, more specialized care on the third floor and skilled nursing/rehabilitation on the fourth floor in case I should need any of those services in the future. Discovery Village is definitely one of the best nursing facilities in the area if not the best. Their staff is very professional and caring and they do a great job at taking care of their patients. I have partnered with them for many years and they are one of the only nursing homes that continues to provide steady and compassionate care for not only their patients and families, but their staff as well. I would highly recommend using this facility for a loved one.
When walking through the door of Discovery Village Skilled Nursing you are met with a homie feel, not a sterile hospital environment. Having everything needed for rehab on one floor is a big plus. The kitchen never disappoints. The staff is always willing to help. These are just some of the things that sets Discovery Village apart from others.
