My Dad was taken there for rehab after a week in the hospital. The staff was great! It would get busy at times, many times so much Dad didn't get the attention he needed for longer than expected. The third shift, however was terrible. There wasn't any sympathy or empathy. The staff was not friendly. They were mean to patients.
I’m so grateful for the care my mom receives at Discovery Village. Don Miller, the executive director, has been incredibly compassionate and supportive throughout our time here. Lulu, the memory care director, and the entire care team are amazing. They love my mom so well and consistently provide thoughtful, attentive care that gives our family so much peace. It means everything to know she’s in such kind and capable hands. Thank you, Don, Lulu, and the whole team at Discovery Village.
They really take wonderful care of my family member here. All the staff is fantastic, but I really appreciate the manager Okey. He is ready to help all the time all hours and always gets things done.
Great community love my friends Lulu and Christian! Rutez is also a great nurse and the EDs do a great job at taking care of all the residents and their needs. Love partnering with this community! A great sales team here as well with Carolyn, Ken, and Holly! And also seeing just how well they take care of every resident as well as their Shine Program! If you’re looking for a community look no further you’re definitely going to get dedicated and intentional care!
I had the pleasure of working with Amy Bird, LMSW, Social Worker at Discovery Village Southlake, during a patient transfer. I am a Patient Liaison with Homage Hospice, and Amy was absolutely outstanding throughout the entire process. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and efficient, providing all required documentation quickly and making sure I had everything I needed without delay.
