Popped in for lunch on a Friday after getting turned away from travellers rest for bot booking. Brilliant service from the owner, all staff were wonderful. Music playlist was spot on. And the food! Fantastic modern menu with some original pub classics on board. Pork belly bites to start were delicious. The "lite bite" pulled pork ciabatte was perfect....and more than a lite bite! Real ale and larger very reasonable price as was the wine. Really impressed and will certainly be heading back again.
Lunch on Friday. It was so lovely with so much choice. Though we would be turned away as we were very late from our original booking. Not at all. Food excellent and very reasonably priced. Service really good. Couldn’t find anything to complain about. Thank you all.
We booked last minute for a Sunday lunch. We live fairly local but haven’t been for years and we will definitely be back!! The Sunday lunch was amazing, I had the chicken breast and my husband had the beef, the portions were good, I did miss mash but that’s a personal preference.
