The owners were very friendly and the cottages and boat were very nice!! 5+ stars!!!
Very nice place, cabin was spotless when we arrived, grounds were awesome. The location couldn't have been better, short walk to town, close to awesome hiking trails!! Paddle boards,and kayaks included easy access to water with a nice dock. We'll be back!
The Lakes is lovely with cozy cabins right near 5th Lake, and very close to the main strip of downtown Old Forge. My husband and I stayed there for our anniversary weekend and enjoyed beautiful fall colors, kayaking and nearby hiking. For the evenings there are both outdoor firepits, and an indoor automatic fireplace. We were also able to bring our dog, and appreciated how dog friendly both the Lakes and Old Forge are. Would definitely recommend!
First, the owners are very tentative and amazing to deal with from the booking, to questions etc. The cottage is perfect. Very clean, fully stocked kitchen for providing meals. Beautiful waterfront and our own fire pit. Everything is well thought out to ensure an amazing getaway. We will definitely be back!
