We recently held a Celebration of Life for my Father at the Lake House. We were absolutely thrilled with the venue which is light filled and airy, perched directly on the lake. Being from out of town, they made special accommodations for me to visit the space prior to the event and answered all our questions accurately so there were no surprises on the day of the event. I am surprised by all the positive reviews. We had a baby shower here and they promised a staff member would be on site and able to assist with any logistical issues (obviously not any details beyond the venue) and we arrived to it being scorching hot in the winter, the music set up and video was a nightmare, we had to keep reminding them to turn it on again and even then, it was mainly just their computer screen showing most of the time, and there was ZERO help on anything like we had to go find who was essentially just a c... read more
We love The Lake House and use it often for special events. The facility is perfect and as a member of Reston Association it’s a nice benefit. I’d also like to point out the new staff is super helpful and pleasant. Special thanks to Mike Z who helped us earlier this year. And tonight Zohair was onsite and extremely helpful and friendly. RA made a great hiring decision bringing Zohair in to lead the event. All in all, we’d highly recommend The Lake House for your special events.
