This is an amazing collection. There is everything you can imagine re lace, bobbin, needle, crochet, ribbon, net, hand made and machine made. There are cabinets with pull out drawers. There are mannequins with wedding and other dresses from many different eras. It is so comprehensive and a little overwhelming. I spent an hours and could have spent two. If lace or even handcrafts are your thing, this is a must and entry (Oct 2024) is $6.

Though Lace Place occupies a smallish area, the quality, quantity and range of exhibited materials are stunning! Display arrangements include a series of beautiful wooden cabinets, each containing a set of glass-topped drawers that compactly house yet more lace and may be opened by visitors. Finding a specialist collection of this type in such a remote place comes as a delightful surprise.
