Very poor customer service at lab. Waited an hour even though I had an appt. Turns out the receptionist was also the only phlebotomist there. For 2 draws with a mobile phlebotomist, they never sent bills to my insurance and sent my account to collections without notifying me. Patient portal has no way to review billing history.

I would like to take a moment to say something i withnessd at this facility on 1/19/2023. Worked at Bioreference under Dawn Mosley who is now a manager xifin (pro billing) and worst Boss period! Under her management our team was outsourced and last but not least is Karen king Operations at BioReference ( a true Karen) with a walking resting bitch face is possibility the worst human being you can come across. Now a supervisor for a Fortune 500. Thank god our dept was outsourced. Small company even bigger Hell! Stay away! You deserve better
Needed some Bloodwork...went to this facility on Monday February 28th. I had told the Woman at the front desk that I didn't fast because I wasn't sure if I needed to. She asked me just to have a seat and give her a minute while she finishes up something. When it was my turn..we had a conversation and she was Very Professional and Very Informative about my specific test. Being a patient fir the last 20 years 1) on 57 th str between 10 and 11 avenue ny ny 2) on 57 th str between 6th b 7th avenue ny ny Today as a routine went to the lab on tge 6th floor confronting a door closed with no notification !! Nobody knew anything not even the concierge !! Sent here by a rheumatologist for blood tests. ONE poor girl working. She was answering phones, scheduling pickups, filling out paperwork, and when she had time she was doing the blood tests. We were horrified! The wait was ridiculous, the girl was stressed out. Very poorly run and staffed.
Absurdly bad. I had a test done that should have taken 5-7 days. Results dictate if another test is needed in a finite period of time. It has been 14 days, and I have no results. Their customer service line is a joke. The incompetence is unbelievable--they know nothing about labs, results, timeframes, anything. For over a week I have tried to get a simple answer to "when will my results be ready?" I still have no idea.
