dropped in for an adult jiu jitsu class. welcoming instructor who teaches clearly and confidently. great array of upper/lower belts made for multiple quality rolls! ill be back when im in the area. Ty!

I was in town for a few days and had the opportunity to train at The Lab Martial Arts. John, the owner and head instructor, invited me to come train and it ended up feeling more like a private seminar than a normal class. John is an incredible instructor with a clear passion for the sport and for helping people improve. I learned a ton in a short amount of time, and the level of detail and attention he gave during training really stood out. I’ve been training for about five years. I was recently visiting St Michael’s for about a month, and found The Lab while looking around online for a place to train. The owner, John, was very responsive when I reached out and invited me to come check out a few classes. What I found when I arrived was a great facility with plenty of mat space, and a very talented and articulate head instructor. I was in town for work and I stopped by to train. The team accepted me and treated me like their own during the week while I was there. Good training, great instruction, and insight along with wholesome training partners and people.
