Great local barber. Emmah did a great job. She is very detail oriented and good at her profession.Fun conversationalist too to talk about whatever. Only thing that threw me off was her studio is located on the first floor with a bunch of others so took me a minute to figure out where The Lab actually was but totally worth it. I am not super picky on my hair but I could tell she was, which I liked. I said medium fade on the side and left the top to her to decide what was best and try something different and ended up great. I travel a lot and have had haircuts in many different places around the world. I can confidently say that my haircut with Emmah in Kansas City is in my personal top 3. Emmah is incredibly skilled, attentive to detail, and creates a very calm and pleasant atmosphere. The conversation was interesting and relaxed, and the overall service was simply excellent. Highly recommend Emma if you’re looking for not just a great haircut, but also a genuinely enjoyable experience.

In town for work and needed a haircut. I showed Emmah a photo of a past haircut I had and liked and now I have a current haircut that I like. I appreciate the hair wash at the end too.
