Found everything I needed here when other grocers were closed. The cashier was very helpful, and the store appeared well-kept and clean. I mostly bought produce and had a good experience. As with any small store, I usually check expiry dates, and I didn’t come across any expired items. I’d definitely come again.
Very nice grocery store. The quality of their meat is far far better than the larger chains like Metro. Prices are also very reasonable.
Produce is often old and mouldy. Not to mention overpriced. There is new ownership recently so hopefully this will improve. I bought strawberries yesterday and they turned out being spoiled when I brought them home.
I regularly buy strawberries, blueberries, arugula and spring mix but these items always seem to be short-dated at the Dupont & Davenport location. I sometimes suspect the Spadina Road location sends its soon-to-expire salads and berries to the Dupont store. The description on Google Maps is High-end grocery store." I think that applies to the Spadina Road store but definitely not the Dupont store.
