Because of the great reviews we celebrated my husband's birthday at Kitchen Consigliere. Boy were we disappointed. The restaurant was dark and showed its age. The food was mediocre at best. We won't return.
We’ve been here several times, and the food has always been great, which makes this visit even more disappointing. Our waitress disappeared multiple times throughout the meal and repeatedly came back smelling strongly of cigarettes. Before our entrees even arrived, she asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. When we finished eating, we waited about 15 minutes for boxes and our check while she stood talking to another table about a recent vacation. Just visited for my first time after hearing great reviews. Absolutely excellent, i had the fried calamari, chicken parmesan, and my partner had the Sunday gravy. Every dish was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent super fast and joyful. Brought life to the atmosphere. The desserts were outstanding, the manager is also the baker and her desserts are to die for! I recommend the brookie! Looking forward to visiting again soon.
