Amazing food, price and service. $10 for a pulled pork sandwich and two sides plus a drink is a STEAL in this economy. Great flavor and tender pork stuffed so full I was able to take from the sandwich and add to the mac for pulled pork mac and cheese. Might be the best corn bread I’ve had in Lansing as well, slightly sweet and super moist plus a huge portion. Absolute gem of a find while working in Lansing. Will definitely be back!
Seems to be a family run business and boy for they know how to do BBQ. Brisket sandwich is the best I've had in town. The meat was so tender. They threw in free desert for our first visit too. So sweet! It is nice to have a quality BBQ joint close by.
The food is almost always really good. A couple of times it has been dry out the 2 or 3 years I've been going there. My problem is that they seem to be getting stingy. When I first started going there they gave huge portions and everything was generously provided. Since the lady started showing up more often, the portions are still good, but they have decreased, and they act like it's an issue if you ask for sliced peppers. I've been going to King Of The Grill since they were out by the Airport. I took my work staff there and they loved it. I've never had a bad experience there, I highly recommend anyone to give them a try.
