Very disappointing experience at Kart Centre Canning Vale on 8 February, which sadly ruined my daughter’s 16th birthday. I called ahead to confirm our group of 7 could race together and booked for 11:20 am based on that assurance. On arrival, there were only 5 working karts, then one broke down, leaving 4, so our group couldn’t race together at all. We waited over an hour despite having a booking time. Absolutely unacceptable experience at The Kart Centre & The Axe Centre. We booked and the cost of $450 for two 10-minute karting sessions for my niece’s birthday. At the time of booking, my sister clearly stated there would be 7 racers and was assured the track could accommodate up to 10 drivers at once. When we arrived on time, we were told there were only 5 working karts available. Great oppertunies to be a good venue. , poor staff efficiency. The venue would be amazing if the team who are employed did anything. Although they were lovely. The bathroom was dirtier than the worst public toilet I've ever seen. The resting and explanation was bare minimum and they don't know how to read the room. 5 middle age women- and they were playing 2000's rap and RnB .. think about what time of day and your customer a little more. You'd get more customers.
Sensational fun for the four of us. Special mention to Sharn at the front desk who I watched show the utmost patience to help some overseas visitors who did not speak much English get in for a racing session. Amazing customer service, we will absolutely be back.
Some karts are fast some are twice as slow...worst kart difference ever....1\10
