I organize an event at Loon and was looking last minute for a reasonably priced place to stay for Friday and Saturday nights. The Kanc Lodge was perfect. It's an older style motel but the room was spotless, the rug and bathroom were obviously recently remodeled and there was a mini fridge in the room. Also the A/C worked great and the front desk person was very nice and helpful when I had some questions. Also the wifi was great about 80 MB upload and download speed.

I would give this hotel a zero if I could . We booked early in the day for a 2 night stay . Drove 3 hours , finally made it . We tried to check in and they told us there were no rooms available despite us having a confirmed and payed for reservation . They said someone already checked in under the same name ….. not our problem. They called the person from the room down who in fact did NOT have the same name and checked into the room on accident and were trying to make excuses . Stayed here with a friend of mine for one night and we very impressed how comfy the beds were and was easily accessible to the mountains we were planing to hike. The check in/out process was quick and easy. We plan to return later this year very cozy.
