If you can't say hello when I walk into your store to check it out, you clearly don't want my business.
When I lived in the area I enjoyed the tasty offerings from this wonderful bakery. Happy to be back in the area for a few days I booked an Uber to take me there for 11am when it opens. The door was locked. I waited until 11:10 before calling an Uber to take me back where I am staying. It cost me $25 for nothing. I will not be going back. The great food is not enough. Customer service also counts.
I placed an order a week in advance for 12 carrot muffins to gift family who is hosting us up north and the day after Ottawa's record-breaking storm the owner called me to explain the store's power was out but after a quick conversation she understood my circumstances and that I couldnt delay pick-up. She then, by some feat of a miracle managed to bake them at an alternate location with power and met me, her only customer of the day, at the shop even when my phone died and I was unresponsive for hours.
