Without getting into specifics, do to the nature of the services provided, my experience in dealing with The Joy and Wellness Center lacked both joy and wellness. There was clearly miscommunication between the owner and clinician I was paired with. After being told the clinician would confirm with the owner, I was told that they would not message me on the client portal and that I would need to make additional appointments to receive any information. Truly a care facility that cares.

Came here for an Re evaluation for my son. We had David to do the testing. Immediately my son was attached to him. Connection is everything. I would say David was a great combination of Blippi and Steve from Blues Clues. He was very kind to my son and they both shared an interest in Minecraft. My son thought that was amazing and it was a good chat for breaks in between testing. David was very patient and encouraging. Only down fall is that we cant keep seeing him.

Truly awful experience here. I went in for ASD testing, I was mislead through the whole process. Then when it came to the results… the summary they provided seemed to be based on nothing more than vibes. It included no factual data or evidence to support their “findings”. I felt extremely devalued and dehumanized. I cannot recommend this place to anyone and regret not trusting the reviews before bringing my son here. The initial assessment seemed promising, and we were referred to a counselor who supposedly offered in-person sessions. However, when I tried to book, I was informed they were only taking telehealth appointments. I called multiple times requesting a referral for an in-person counselor and was assured someone would get back to me, but no one ever did. We were completely ignored.
