Stopped into the Jeweler's Workbench in Park Ridge this afternoon and met the owner, Paul, and his colleague, Billy. I was in the store with my Dad --- looking for a new watchband. They had exactly what we needed...an XL size...in the color and style that is perfect! Not an easy feat, if you've ever searched for XL watchbands before. It was a pleasure to visit with them and learn of such an excellent and qualified jeweler right in town. They do repair work as well as sales. We've been customers of The Jeweler's Workbench for many years. Recently I bought a gold name necklace I saw on Esty as a gift. I asked the seller to see a photo of what it would look like before I purchased it (which I didn't get) and when I received the necklace, two of the letters had weird trailing tails that made the name hard to read. I was heartbroken. I took the necklace to The Jeweler's Workbench and Paul was able to cut the extra pieces off while I waited. Now it looks PERFECT!
