Staff were friendly. The veggie burger and potato salad (or option of potato chips) were good even though the cost was a bit high for what you received. We noticed there was only one person at the cashier taking orders and might not have had time to clean outdoor tables as needed. However, we plan to eat there again in the future. They even serve alcoholic beverages in case you like that option.
I'm usually very skeptical about "touristy" food places, because the products being sold is usually just complementary to the ambience of the tourist attraction. I thought the prices were gonna be insane like $25 minimum for a burger, but instead it was $17~ for a burger and some house potato chips, no drink. Still a bit steep, but not by a lot. There are meals you enjoy, and then there are meals you remember long after the last bite. The Sunrise Burger at The Jetty belongs firmly in the second category. the location is perfect sitting on the California coastline watching it as it’s waking up around you, the ocean stretching endlessly into the horizon, waves rolling onto golden sand while the salty sea breeze drifts across your table.
