My mum took my dad to an appointment today, he has Alzheimer’s and mum has struggled to get anyone to help her since his diagnosis. The staff at the JBC have been fantastic and treated dad with respect and kindness. They left with so much knowledge on his condition and also with a plan to carry forward. It’s the first touch of hope they’ve felt and it’s meant a lot. Keep up the fantastic work!
I was invited to go and get accessed at the lovely Jean Bishop centra I saw around 5 nurses a physio and a doctor all individually the service and the staff are amazing made me feel at ease aswell as the volunteer was a lovely person he couldn't do enough for ppl sorry forgot he's name even got fed a lovely meal and tea thank you
The whole team was well coordinated when I visited with my mum. Nurse Nicky explained everything well, was empathetic and informative. Then the doctors who’s name I can’t quite remember, went through everything in a more holistic approach, he was inquisitive to figure out root issues of my mums poor health, providing options rather than just offering medication straight away — we really do need more doctors like this that tackle root issues rather than providing temporary alleviation. Lovely building in a lovely area. Fantastic service and very helpful and friendly staff. I wish all my appointments were there.
The Jean Bishop integrated care centre is a new modern state of the art health centre. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The service is second to none. The x-ray department was very quick and efficient. The place was not very busy. There is a nice big free car park. This is the NHS at its best.
