I did not eat here but i came for the music i will come here again during my stay. The neyo jones band was outstanding I hope the jazz playhouse book them again. They were just good nice jazzy music. Neyo opened her 9p set with the a cover of the eternal nancy Wilson's. Guess who i saw today. Neyo did not disappoint. Intimate jazz experience. Great drinks selections.
We had a great time at this jazz club! The band was outstanding, especially the sax player and the young drummer. Nayo Jones has an amazing voice and did a great job at engaging the audience. It was interesting to hear some Broadway show tunes flipped into jazz. The only drawback was an overly intrusive wait staff. In a jazz club, I expect that wait staff to be "invisible" so as not to detract from the music.
