Good Business – It was nice to read the reviews even though they were troubling, but since I was just at Papa Jake's last night with a table of 10 I thought I better write something about our experience. We had no complaints. Our bartender/waiter was super, we never waited for a drink. All our food came out at the same time and it was totally awesome. We all plan on going there again next week!

BAD BUSINESS – Papa Jakes needs to concentrate on gaining the integrity the business lacks. We had a "Seize the Deal" coupon for which we paid $20. Although the coupon said right on it that it expired on Oct 26, Papa Jakes said that they changed the expiration to Oct 25 and would not take it. Not only did we not get our $40 in food that we expected - but we are out the $20 we paid and got nothing for it. Awesome place to catch a bite and a drink – I was personaly sitting next to the lunatic lady from the previous review and I can say that she is lying flat out. She border line assulted the hostess who was extremely nice to us it is pathetic when low lives try to get a free meal. In addition I go to papa Jakes 3 times a week and have never had a bad experience..so to the lady of the previous reveiw get a life and some friends and maybe you will not be so mad all the time

Go Elsewhere! – Was a regular.... with 4-5 others every other Friday generally. The service and food quality started to get poor so we stopped going. Haven't been there in a few years, but heard Jakes has a new owner. So we thought we would give it another shot! Wow! Things got worse! I mean Wow! Read on! This is a restaurant....... food service ...... there are some basics. Like.... WHat Hapeened to Papa Jake's? – What happened to Papa Jake's? It used to have the nicest bartender and wait people! The food was always decent pub food and we especially enjoyed the meatloaf sandwich and breaded fish fry. Our last couple visits have left us missing the good old Papa Jake's. An extremely rude and bratty hostess and and unfriendly bartender are enough to keep me away but the mediocre food sealed the deal. Too bad because this was a favorite meeting place for our family.
