Very dumpy, unsafe conditions, would be beautiful if cleaned up. The property had a lot of potential. Did seem very creepy venue. It did not feel right.
Not sure what the interior looks like, but the outside definitely needs a lot of work/cleaning. There is lots of junk visible on the front side of the property. It looks like it was very nice at one time.
Had a lovely time, March 29, 2025. Entry fee was a donation to the Food Bank, saw donations, so people are helping out. :-) Enjoyed eating boudin balls and brisket nachos, seeing people in Renaissance garb, chatting with vendors in booths, chatting with owner. I've attended, sometimes in garb, several times, and always enjoyed it. Wish I had taken photos!
My small business had the unfortunate experience of vending at this "faire" advertisement stated near 1000 people expected i imagine maybe 150 between both Saturday and Sunday. all of the vendors were stuck on a single car width driveway loop that had a small rock wall that kids and adults continually tripped and fell over.the grounds were unkempt and overgrown intact the vendors not on the loop were in ankle high grass. I was at the site for Renaissance Fairy festival on March 29, 2025. I was excited that it was a historic site. However, the locations we were allowed to use, which is basically only the roundabout from the main entrance was very small. The event grounds were not well maintained due to ant piles spiders, bugs, old tree roots and lots of mud.
