2 1/2 months of PT here, was enough to return me to pre-total Knee Replacement mobility. I came in using a walker, and after 3 weeks, stored it and the cane and walked to and from the clinic without any help. I found the PT staff to be competent, friendly, and willing to pitch in to help each other. I give them a 10+ rating.

I have worked with several of the therapists at The Jackson Clinic in Old Town. They are a caring knowledgeable group who have provided good education regarding a home program for me now that I am discharged. I highly recommend this friendly professional group of therapists.

I visited the Jackson Clinic at Old Town today. I was not pleased with my visit. I did not find the staff to be friendly but they were businesslike. The physical therapist seemed qualified but passed me off to an assistant who had multiple people at the same time. This was my first appointment so I was not familiar with the exercises. She told me what to do and then walked away to her other client. I was not given very specific instructions and I was not watched to see if I was doing the exercises correctly. My back doctor recommended Jackson Clinics for physical therapy. They take time to explain their plan for you and to answer your questions. The first half hour of each session is devoted to 'hands on' therapy by a doctor of physical therapy. The second half are the exercises that the therapist recommends to the trainer. The staff is warm and professional. I had two other rounds of physical therapy at a hospital-based facility and the level of competency at Jackson Clinic excels both of those.
