IKYFL… Not the way I was excited about going here to a “Black Owned” hotel. I didn’t see any workers that were the same race. At check-in on 8/31 the guy who checked us in was not welcoming, not a smile but he definitely gave us a look.. like Why are we here ?. He was short & answered questions with a condescending tone. The room was seemingly nice but the bathroom had a sewer smell coming from it. I must’ve been put on the floor with the kids because all night all I heard was them. I had to book a room last minute and I am so happy this is the hotel I chose. The hotel is clean, beautiful and it’s in a great location. The staff were all so kind and patient. I felt welcomed and was able to have a relaxing evening here to end my trip. Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for the great service and wonderful experience!
