I lived at the Ivy for nearly 5 years and had a really great experience! Staff were friendly and communicative, and I always felt like my needs were being met. The amenities are great, especially access to the South Bend Cubs baseball games and now that La Esperanza and a new sports bar are open on the property, residents get discounts there too. I'm a current resident. People seem to think these are premium apartments, so I'd like to clear that up. They are, at best, mediocre and overpriced. They apply late charges before the actual deadline that they give you. Check if you have paid undeserved late fees, because theyll overcharge you if you aren't checking. You get about 15 minutes of warm water for a shower. Water is extremely hard. There are large chunks of precipitated minerals in my thermos every morning from the sink. This was a great place to live. The apartments are great and being next to the field is a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend an apartment on the field facing side. The office folks are lovely.
