This clinic is amazing. Yes, they have long wait times, but Dr. Gerber is phenomenal. I had my Nexplanon placed and all I felt was a pinch and pressure. I had a follow-up phone appt due to some concerns, and Dr. Gerber went above and beyond for me, even assessing my ultrasounds which she did not have to do. I felt genuinely cared for and that she was actually listening to me— she really went the extra mile, to the point where I point out the clinic every time I drive past and relay how great Dr. Gerber is. I went to this clinic for an IUD removal and re-insertion based on my doctor’s recommendation, and unfortunately the experience became increasingly frustrating and stressful. At my first appointment, I waited over an hour past my scheduled time, which already felt excessive. During the appointment, the IUD could not be located, and I was given a requisition for an ultrasound with more than a month wait time. I had a great experience at the IUD clinic! It was my first IUD so I was very nervous, but Dr. Gerber and her assistant were excellent. Dr. Gerber explained every step to me which I really appreciated. I didn’t feel rushed to leave at all afterwards, even though I needed to lie down in the recovery room. Getting an IUD itself is not fun whatsoever, but the staff at the clinic made it the best it could be. Thank you, ladies!

I have been here twice. The first time, to have a nexplanon implant placed, and the second time, just now, to have it removed and replaced with a new one. Dr. Gerber is very knowledgeable and professional. She does a great job of providing information about what options are available, and the pros and cons, and is transparent about the possible risks and side effects, as well as how many patients she has had that have experienced them, and other reports.
