THEY OFFER PAIN RELIEF!! 💯🔥🙏🏻😭💖 I was getting my Mirena replaced and I was really worried as my initial install was very painful to the point of blacking out. My IUD replacement with Dr. Gerber was a walk in the park compared to my last physician. I took 2 Aleve before my appointment as instructed but had major anxiety because my previous replacement was nearly unbearable (and I consider myself to have a very high pain tolerance). I am sharing my experience so others are aware before booking at this clinic. During my IUD insertion, I specifically requested numbing but was denied. The provider proceeded without it, and after completing the procedure admitted she wasn’t sure the IUD was placed correctly — and that she should have numbed me. I waited a month for an ultrasound, which confirmed the device was indeed misplaced. I had my IUD removed at this clinic earlier this year and unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience. The doctor did not introduce herself, which made the whole process feel impersonal and strange. There was just a curtain, and the doctor's behavior was off-putting.
