Ok selection, go to store when you need a few things from home...but some stuff is crazy expensive compared to what it costs in Italy. I think it is hard for small stores to compete nowadays since supermarkets stock more, for example, Mulino Bianco products. Pizza was ok, crust was heavy, more NY Italian than Italian-Italian.
Best pizza in the area. Wonderful sub sandwiches, too. We wish we lived closer!

Over 30 years ago my parents moved to this area to start a family. Originally from RI there was and still is a tremendous lack of great authentic Italian places in the DC metro region. We would literally bring back pasta, cheese and deli meats from New England until we found this place! It was not until I was in my 20's that I stumbled across this placed and shared it with my Dad who also lived in DC at the time.
