When we checked in, cleaning crew had left boys underwear in the bathroom and a beer can under master bed. Minimal cleaning done, walking barefoot or in socks on floor first day turns them black. To me this means nothing is cleaned if it can be skipped and rooms are barely checked out between guests. Elevators for two visits over two years now have not worked, one of them completely out of order this trip and the only working one barely worked and felt risky to use plus takes 10 minutes to wait for it, very slow and unsafe f... read more
Great poolside rooms, very close (steps) to the beach.
Today I am leaving the islander after a glorious six day stay!!! my family, and I drive all the way from Texas every year to stay here. It's become our place to unwind, relax, and have fun together. This finishes my 13th straight summer of coming to the Islander and I wouldn't change a thing. The beautiful condos, the beautiful beach, the amenities, I could go on and on! I can't wait to come back next year to make the memories with my family. We love the Islander ♥️
