I just had a week at the Islander with the Grandkids. We had a fantastic time. The location to beaches and facilities is perfect for young and old as we walked just about everywhere at the Point. We have been holidaying at the Islander for over 30 years now we keep coming back for those reasons. The pool was great for days when the wind was awful on the beach as well. The staff were amazing and helpful. The room was a little tired and used looking but it was very clean and comfortable. We'll keep coming back.

We had a great stay at the Islander. Donna was incredibly accommodating. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Very large, clean, spacious bathroom and bedrooms, with comfy beds. We played tennis and basketball with the gear supplied. Within walking distance to the pub and local beaches. We enjoyed our stay.

Our room was basic, though it had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is great, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I did find the parking availability limited.

The apartment was very spacious and clean. The check in process was prompt and we were provided with local information. The location was perfect for Cylinder Beach, the Straddie Hotel and a short drive to the Point Lookout area. We saw many whales on the Gorge walk which was amazing.

Clean. Quiet. Perfect spot for relaxing weekend of walks, reading and cafes. Very close to Home Beach, Coffee caravan, Sun markets and Pt Lookout Hotel.
