In full transparency. Our vacation was just a few days before hurricane Isaias 2027. We called two days before our trip to check to see if the resort would be open. We were informed if the resort is open we would have to keep our reservations or lose or money. We called back the day before our trip, we got no answer at all. I gave along score on the room because with the hurricane on the previous week there where moisture issues they where trying to get rid of mitigation company on site machines running in the hall all night cords and blowers. In my opinion these rooms should have not been available and if so discounted with prior notification of the situation.

Like others have mentioned, the Island is in a great location and the rooms are a bit outdated but nice and clean. However, I was charged for a smoking fee when I checked out without being informed. When I disputed the claim, I wasn’t smoking and am 99% sure it was my hair dryer that tripped their internal system, I was told there was nothing they could do and to dispute it with my credit card. Nobody responded to my emails asking for written instructions to dispute with my credit card. I wouldn’t return due to this headache... read more
