Booked ourselves a night at the inn to ski the next day at Cape Smokey, Very close to the hill! Was greeted on the doorstep by the sweetest old man, the owner. Check in process was a breeze and we were escorted promptly to our room. Rooms were in immaculate condition, with everything we needed at our disposal, they even had water jars. Slept great in nice clean sheets, and woke up to scent of bacon and coffee being cooked up for us (included with the stay). Bed was comfy. Sink drain was very slow, toilet hardly flushed. No cream for my coffee, only milk, that is a big deal for me. Breakfast was very basic but ok. Smelled musty. Good location overlooking the water and right before the park entrance. Restaurant within walking distance.

I am giving this 2-star review based on the room alone (the room gets no stars) The place is at an excellent location, right off the road, next to a gas station and steps away from the park’s entrance. The staff were friendly, even the cat was friendly. The breakfast was good: scrambled eggs and bacon, with toast, coffee and juice. We stayed on the fist floor and had a very long night. Would 100% recommend staying here. The hosts were so friendly, kind, generous with their time, and we enjoyed playing new games with them. The included breakfast had somewhat of a fixed menu but seemed flexible based on food allergies or dislikes. The room was clean and comfy. The view was good with a lake and the ocean right in front. Staying at this Inn was one of the biggest highlights of our first visit to the maritimes. 💕
