Race itself was great but the headache caused by the team was certainly not worth the money. I paid to have my race packet delivered because I live in L.A. and was planning to visit Texas for the half-marathon on 12/20. Allegedly, they had a fire at their printing company, and this is what I was told: "Unfortunately, race packet delivery has been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, including a fire at our paper printing company, which required us to adjust our usual shipping methods. I've run several races with the Irving Marathon Running Series, and they always deliver a fantastic experience. The races are well-organized from start to finish, with a great atmosphere and enthusiastic volunteers. I love the courses—they offer scenic views and are perfect for a new PR.
