We paid $11,332 for a spiral staircase from The Iron Shop and the quality is honestly shocking for the price. The oil-rubbed bronze staircase came covered in silver hardware, the handrail arrives as a coil that has to be bent into shape on site and ours is visibly wavy, our professional installers had to sand the factory finish off parts just to make them fit, and the top cap literally lifts right off. The Iron Shop was absolutely the right choice for our spiral staircase project. The staircase itself is a high-quality product, but what truly set The Iron Shop apart was Steve's exceptional customer service. In trying to work on a project and reaching out to the Iron Shop for help. I was completely blown off. No contact other than a form email. Really, not even a phone call or a reach out for more details. I guess they are too good for some projects. Very poor business and customer relations.
