The Iron Anvil took on a very unusual project for the Teasdale Community Park in Teasdale, Utah. They created something very unique and special. The Iron Anvil produced a huge Solar Fin (looks like a shark fin) with a scope pointed toward Polaris (the North Star). The metal structure creates a space to experience the relationship of the moving Earth to the Sun, including pointing to the sunrises and sunsets of the summer and winter solstices and the vernal and autumnal equinoxes. Vern sued us over a fence that he contracted with his own daughter and son-in-law. We were asked if we were willing to split the fence as neighbors. We never signed a contract of any sort. He provided the materials in which he initially bid $1,000 with a $500 split cost. The deal was that the labor would be his son-in-law’s and daughter’s responsibility as he was going to walk them through building the fence.
