The integrity of the science and preservation of snow leopards along with their environment as well as educating the local peoples in how to keep the leopards from killing their herds which are very precious as the main source of food and economy.

A truly unique and internationally recognized group which blends idealism and pragmatism, working with the local population to 1) pay herders for herd animals killed by snow leopards (as food) 2) designing stronger, more protective, fences for herds 3) hiring herders as snow leopard guardians 4) using tech for such wonderful pictures to share with us as well as to count and study the snow leopard. And, to think, this is another Seattle home-grown group! We are so proud of you. Thank you folks!

They work so hard to protect the snow leopard and its mountain realm, and also cooperate with the local people in snow leopard range countries, making life better for both snow leopards and people alike.
