It was luck that someone was at the front desk upon our arrival. That was the first and last time I saw someone seated there. Help was available by phone and once the restaurant next door opened. The proprietors either owned or managed both. They were very kind and helpful, just not accessible. The Inn lacked daily cleaning, yet had a strong smell of cleaning detergents. I love how they changed a historical building into a Motel . With taste and modernity . It is perfect for a roadtrip coming from Memphis or visiting the plantation area of New Orleans . There is nothing else in the village …but at least a big Walmart . The restaurant in the building is easy and a good Menue and on the weekends they just opened a pool/Billiard hall . Perfect for Road people who don’t like American style chain Motels but character .
No windows in the room, partially clean. I do not recommend this place or only if you need a quick stop.
