They denied me access to the SALT program roughly 2 years ago as a mentally ill, homeless 19-20 year old because i was upset and crying after an appointment with them on the sidewalk outside of the building because a family member wasn't able to drive me home. i behaved completely fine during the appointment and inside the building, though i may have cried a little due to a misunderstanding with the program director. i would 100% reccomend NOT going here for housing as a young woman with mental health issues as they DO NOT C... read more
Please do NOT send your daughter here, they constantly play favourites they do NOT have concerns for their youths safety. many times young girls were approved to sign out, even though staff knew they were meeting with way older men. one time i took a nap and missed dinner because i wasnt feeling good and they told me “since you missed dinner you cannot have left overs, you can have some toast.” they made 15 year old me go to doctors appointments alone, knowing thats not legal. all because they were too lazy to drive me. they... read more
Where to begin… I attended here twice as a youth. Back in 2011 & 2014. The first time, I was struggling at home, things were chaos in my family. My mother and father were both suffering with their own mental health issues and it took a pretty big toll on me. Eventually I started acting out and running away.
