The best jiu-jitsu academy I've ever trained at, period. I've been a black belt since 2009, but after moving to the US, I struggled to find a place to train. Every time I visited a gym, I found myself with something to prove, and safety was rarely the priority. Then a member of IBJJA invited me to come train. IBJJA has had, and continues to have, such a profound, positive impact on my family. Both of our children, my husband, and I participate in classes there and we are all the better because of it. All of the coaches are welcoming and empowering. Candice is so kind and patient with any questions we have. James has truly built an inspiring community we look forward to seeing every day, and I highly recommend this place to everyone.
IBJJA has the absolute best staff and environment! The coaches genuinely care about your experience and never hesitate to answer questions. It can be so intimidating coming into a new place and doing something so physical but the welcoming environment eliminates all anxiety! I have enjoyed my time here so so much and am so grateful for my experience! 10/10 would recommend to anybody wanting to train with awesome people and amazing coaches!

Very professional. They keep the mats clean. They are extremely welcoming and kind. They make you feel at home instead of out of place. Would recommend this for the kiddos for sure. Got my boy in there.
