The cookie sundae was incredible and delicious the first night we didn’t go cause the line was long but it was worth it the next day super friendly staff kept coming back when we were on block island
Edit: The owner, Anita, reached out to me and apologized and offered us to come by again and the ice cream was on her. We took her up on the offer and stopped by. Not only were our sundaes miles better, Anita was actually there and we had a great conversation about the island. So rare these days that people listen and take some accountability, but Anita did and that (plus our delicious sundaes) warranted a change in my review. We’ve been coming here 10+ years during our vacations to Block Island and usually have a good experience at this place, but recently it has been quite disappointing. We got 3 sundaes, a one scoop and two brownie sundaes. The one scoop, ordered with butterscotch sauce, had maybe a teaspoon of butterscotch and a tiny dollop of whip cream. The ice cream was so yummy here. The whip cream was definitely homemade is was perfectly made. The staff is very friendly. They made you feel welcome and they were happy to answer questions and get you the ice cream dessert that you want. There's lots of different flavors and toppings. I can't wait to go back to Block Islands, I will definitely be making another stop at The ice Cream Place. Just to let you know they only take cash here but there is ATM's. So worth going
