How embarrassing I wish The Boliers lifts next door was working. I would have went there for lunch. The quiche was dry and pies were in the pie warmer way toooooo long. Paper plates and bamboo cutlery. My family from Interstate with me, so embarrassed.
We have often driven past this hotel on our way to Bathurst. Saw an episode of Travel guides last year that featured the High Tea there. Booked on line and called in this time passing. High tea was delicious and the view from the Winter Garden room was spectacular. The service was first class. Definitely worth stopping in and treating yourself.
Lovely property, great views, Wintergarden restaurant was stunning with great food However rooms are not good for the price charged - too small, bathroom difficult to manage nowhere to put anything they let the property down. Bar lounge area could do with a refurb also to show off the amazing building steeped in local history, adjoining outdoor area could be utilised more as it was lovely.
