This place is great! Fishing is great, people are great, rooms are too! Their shop had the supplies we needed. We’ll be back!!
While the rooms were very functional, the dining was TOP NOTCH! We ate at the restaurant 4 nights in a row because we loved it so much! The wait staff and chef are incredible, and I loved the whole vibe of the restaurant. We stayed in the ‘Whiteface Suite’ with our family of 4 which was great for us with all of the gear. Love that the kids had their own room and own beds - AND it was pet friendly so our dog not only could stay but had lots of room to roam the grounds. Thank you to the staff for taking such good care of us!

Amazing resteraunt! Unbeatable atmosphere and some great staff to go along with it, and I can't forget to mention the food. Absolutely delicious! There are plenty of great options, and usually, the restaurant isn't the busiest. Overall, it is one of the best restaurants in the area. Highly recommended!
The Resort I’m sure is wonderful. The Hungry Trout Restaurant is where this establishment Shines!!! This is the best and most expertly prepared food in the Lake Placid area!!! Executive Chef Brad McQueen and his staff are making thee… best meals around!!! The name says it all and the menu shows it! Trout 4 ways!! Each one delicious in its own right.
