Tamar and Juliana are fantastic! My son enjoyed his 1 on 1 sessions and Social Group. Definitely check out Hummingbird if your child needs assistance or extra time learning social skills.
Our son has made such incredible progress since starting at The Hummingbird Nest. He loves going to The Hummingbird Nest and looks forward to it every week. He has made many friends and learned so many new skills! Tamar and her team run an amazing program and approach each child and each family with respect, empathy and personalized care. I highly recommend them to any family with neurodiverse kids!
Our son had a great experience here. Before he started, he had difficulty connecting and interacting with other kids. Through group, learned and strengthened his social skills, independence, and importantly had fun doing so as well! And now, a couple years later, is thriving at school with his peers. We had an amazing experience with The Hummingbird Nest and specifically the group our 6 year old was a part of. We initially joined because he was experiencing several social struggles. His time in the group helped him observe, engage and react appropriately to different social situations. It was absolutely the right choice for him and our family.
Tamar has been supporting our son for over three years across multiple settings- in school, through social club and 1:1 therapy. she’s had a significant positive effect in our son’s life and on our family as a whole. The social club has been a great resource for our son to improve social skills in a positive and encouraging environment.
