A magical SPOT right outside El Paso
The Hacienda was a fantastic home base for us for a long trip to Hueco. The community fostered by the incredibly gracious hosts Kyung and Mike was a real treat. The house is appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and Kyung went above and beyond to help us throughout our week at the Hacienda. Mike is a great climbing guide, and going out on tour with him was always a great day of climbing. The Hacienda is a terrific place to stay while climbing in Hueco Tanks. I was impressed and look forward to staying there again on my next visit. The Hacienda is incredibly close to the Park— I opened the curtains in my room each morning to see where we would be climbing. The accommodations are spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Our team stayed at Hueco Hacienda for our first annual team retreat and it was perfect. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with at least one quality cooking tool of each type that you'd need, a smattering of basic ingredients so you don't have to shop for everything, and a pretty big space so groups or multiple groups can cook concurrently.
