Staff is friendly. Train is insanely noisy and seems to get even louder late at night. Room service options are mid and uninspired. Hotel Valet damaged my car and denied fault. What an awful experience overall.
This place was amazing. The lounge, the food options, location, truly just about everything. Rooms are on the smaller side, which is fine! Only two drawbacks in my opinion - the room needs a desk and the TV was super dated (guide and channels did not work super well). The experience throughout is luxury and set such a magical scene for my first big trip to Chicago!
Air conditioning is incredibly loud, but also doesn’t cool the room.The beds are sagging in the middle, and incredibly uncomfortable. In fact, the beds are so uncomfortable that I could not sleep and that’s the only reason I am writing this review. Location is great. Staff was not very helpful, but I assume it’s just because they can’t help with a broken air conditioner or old beds. Currently staying here and had to be up for a meeting. Wanted to make coffee and they only have real milk in the fridge. Which is strange to just have milk in the fridge and nothing else. Problem is that a lot of folks have a lactose intolerance. Called the front desk and I would have to wait another 1.5 hours to get an alternative. The front desk guy seemed to really not care either and was quite snarky. It’s now been an hour since my last message to him.
