I lived in this building for 3 years and had a great experience from start to finish. The entire building is consistently kept immaculately clean and is very well-maintained. What truly makes this place special is the staff. Everyone, from the doormen to the maintenance crew, is incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. Any time I had a maintenance request, it was handled promptly and efficiently. I always felt safe and well taken care of. Highly recommend!
The Howell is an awesome place to live. The doormen and the super are all extremely friendly and responsive. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
The Howell was a nice building to live in - I enjoyed my time there for one lease in one of their studios. It definitely felt more like a 1 bedroom than a studio because of the layout. Big shoutout to Kreshnik who was always super helpful. He made himself available even if it was at his own cost, which means a ton to a resident. He never failed to address any maintenance issues as quickly as he could - so I didn't go more than a day with a problem in my unit (ex. AC, electricity). This review is specifically for the building superintendent Kreshnik Murataj (Nick) - I lived here for a year and he is a really great super. Very fast text/phone communication and maintenance turnaround. He even takes the extra effort to put on shoe covers before he enters the apartment
The space that I rented served me well. My only complain is the stove, but other than that I was quite happy. The building is fantastic! Lobby is bright and stylish, and all of the staff are extremely personable, helpful, pleasant, and welcoming. I recommend if you are looking for something small and luxurious. :)
