Lived here for 1 year. Here is my full experience: The super & front desk staff are the absolute best. Nick, Johnny, Nicholas, Emanuel, Carlton are all incredible and have always been great to me throughout my stay here. Any maintenance issues were immediately resolved, and Nick is the best super you could have. Honestly the best thing about living in the building. I lived in The Howell for 3 years and truly enjoyed my time there. The concierge staff (Johnny, Carlton, and Emmanuel) were always helpful, the porter staff (Nicolas and Emmanuel) were thoughtful, and the superintendent, Kreshnik, was accommodating and flexible. The building is just steps away from Fulton St station, where most subway lines stop, giving you direct access to nearly all of NYC. My experience at The Howell was truly wonderful. I lived here for almost three years and the doormen and building service were always extremely kind and welcoming. Carlton and Johnny always took great care of the tenants and were super helpful whenever I needed assistance.
Recently moved into The Howell, and the experience has been nothing but flawless. The administrative staff was prompt and detailed in organizing the move-in logistics to assure there were no hiccups in that process. The superintendent, Nick, has gone above and beyond with helping me setup my apartment to my liking — he responds nearly instantly to all questions and is always willing to help with any of my asks.
