The food was delicious but the snow crab special was crazy. So expensive for so little crab. Steer clear of that one and you won't be disappointed by the flavor.
I was only in town for my internship and felt like trying something i couldn't really get in idaho. And MAN! I had such a good time. I got the 1 combo and had two pounds of grawfish and a pound of shrimp with a calamari and catfish appetizer and a saide of garlic bread to share with my boss. Now, I haven't had a chance to have many boils in my life, but this was the best I've ever had. I destroyed my food. NOT A FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE AT ALL VERY LIKE WHY ARE YOU COMING HERE.
If you have a large party CHECK YOUR BILL!!!! Their system is set up incorrectly so that they charge sales tax on the food AND ON THE 18% gratuity. Sales tax in Carson at the time of this review is 10.5% so make sure your tax is only 10.5% of the subtotal, not the total including tip. I brought it to the managers attention and she credited the difference but couldn’t fix the incorrect setup. She was very nice about it so hopefully they will fix it. As for food, the combos are great but everything else is just ok.
The good was salty. Good service.
